Marketing and Communications Assistant
Marketing and Communications Assistant - 37 hours per week
Salary – Scale 2/ 3 (£13854 - £15825)
Fixed Term Contract for 2 years
The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Officer to promote the activities of Derbyshire Sport. This will include updating and developing the Derbyshire Sport website, writing press releases and liaising with the local press and media. The role also includes supporting the delivery of conferences and events.
The successful candidate will have a relevant degree or similar qualification. They will also be an excellent copy writer, have some experience of working in a marketing or communications environment, excellent IT skills, enthusiasm in abundance and an interest in sport and leisure.
