Community Rugby Coach - Central Sussex

Full time – 35 hours per week
Salary: £17,000 plus benefits and expenses
12 month contract (continuation subject to funding)

In conjunction with our partners, we are looking to appoint a new Community Rugby Coach to work in specific boroughs in Central Sussex, starting in September, initially for a fixed term of 12 months. This scheme is managed by Sport England with the support of the Department for Culture Media and Sport.

About the Job

About You

Must be educated to a minimum of 'GCSE' standard preferably with at least five GCSEs at grade C or above.
Will have experience of coaching children and young people.
Should hold an RFU coaching qualification (minimum level 1 / preferred Level 2) and current driving licence.
Should have a good knowledge and understanding of the game and the operation of junior rugby within Central Sussex.
Must be a confident and effective communicator and have the ability to motivate yourself and others, as well as working effectively as a team member.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Ideally the successful candidate should have a good knowledge and understanding of the game and the operation of junior rugby in the borough of Central Suusex. They should be keen to develop a career in the sports/leisure industry and to develop their personal skills.
