Full time contract until March 31st 2009
(Post continuation subject to funding)
Salary Scale: £19,000 — £22,000.
The post-holder will be responsible for the development of the female game within the London Boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Newham, Redbridge and Waltham Forest. The post will be based at the Association’s Chelmsford Office. The successful applicant will join a highly-regarded Development Team reporting to the County Development Manager.
This will be an exciting and wide ranging role with areas of work including:
- Club development
- Education (School-Club links)
- Coach and volunteer development
- Football funding
The successful candidate will:
- Be a university graduate (or similar) who is able to demonstrate a knowledge of FA
football development initiatives and an appreciation of the issues specific to the
East London area. - Be able to communicate with a wide range of partners.
- Have experience of working within sports development and be able to
demonstrate an ability to plan, deliver and evaluate programmes. - Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
- Be available to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
