Agencies contributing to the provision of Sport & Physical Activity for Women & Girls

The North West Region is served by five County Sport Partnerships (CSPs). These Partnerships are made up of representatives from a range of sectors within and outside the sports industry including Local Authorities, Health, Education agencies and others and are charged with providing strategic leadership and guidance on matters relating to sport and physical activity across their area.

County Sport Partnerships (CSPs) are seen nationally at the heart of the Single System for Sport and as such it is beneficial for anyone involved in the provision of sport and physical to have a basic knowledge of the CSPs and how they are being developed.

For more detailed information on the development of the Single System for Sport in the North West please visit the Sport England North West website - - and County Sport Partnership (CSP) websites (see contacts page).
