Record win for Karen Stupples

England's Karen Stupples won the Welchs/Fry Championship in Tuscon, Arizona, her first LPGA title, in record style. Her 22 under par total of 258 is the lowest four-round total ever recorded in an LPGA event and left her 5 shots clear of Grace Park. Karen, from Deal in Kent, was an England international from 1995 to 1998. She played in the winning GB & I Curtis Cup team in 1996 and again in 1998, before turning professional.
