WellChild's mission is to get sick children better.
Our work spreads across the whole spectrum of childhood health issues and we aim to find ways to prevent childhood disease and illness, to improve the treatment and care of sick children and to provide support for their families.
Since 1977, WellChild has been responsible for improving the treatment and care of thousands of children suffering from a range of illnesses and conditions. We currently have a programme of child-research projects in fields as diverse as liver disease, cystic fibrosis, cancer and diabetes, amongst others. Through our team of WellChild Children's Nurses, we provide practical support for the families of chronically sick children living at home, while we provide information to children, their parents or carers through our new child health Helpline 0845 1228636.

At Specialized we are truly focussed on the needs of female cyclists, with the intent of offering a complete package of bicycles and equipment to properly fit women's bodies, and to suit the way women really ride. We pay careful attention to the visual details, but no amount of feminine styling can match the true measurable technological benefits: proper fit, proper materials, and underlying all of it, a soul that was envisioned for and created by women riders. 2006 brings the most comprehensive road, off-road and leisure range ever seen in the UK, so whether you are commuting to work, enjoying the trails or racing for your club or country we have the perfect package of bike and equipment for you.
